Health & Safety

Lowrie Modular Buildings (formally Lowrie Brothers) have been established since 1986 and Health and Safety is embedded into the culture of the business and we satisfy and exceed all appropriate UK Building Regulations. We are registered members of CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) and Construction Line and members of MPBA (Modular and Portable Buildings Association).

Our staff are trained to the highest standards and all our site teams hold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and/or CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) Cards and as a company Lowrie Modular Buildings are CSCS Gold Standard certified.

Senior Site Staff hold SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) Certificates and are fully qualified to manage site operations.

Each installation team will also contain at least one registered first aider at all times.

During consultations and prior to delivery we work closely with our clients to ensure that everything is prepared and that all levels of compliance are adhered to both before and during installation. All our work is undertaken in a fenced off area and any ‘at risk’ areas are fully evacuated before lifting.

We are a registered LABC partner and an approved contractor for Kent County Council and East Sussex County Council and exceed all their health and safety requirements.
